Saturday, almost Sunday

Here it is, fairly late on Saturday.  I usually go to Mass on Sunday morning but went this afternoon instead.  Now, I am writing but really don’t have anything in mind because I’m so tired and I did my praying this afternoon.  I am reading chapters from Meditations before Mass -before Mass so I’ve really engaged my mind.  Whether that translates into my heart, I don’t know.  These meditations are thought-provoking.   I’m hoping they will help me pray the Mass instead of attending the Mass.  I actually do a bit of both.  I’d like to extend my concentration…..

I am turning in – I will say my prayers before doing so, I don’t know if this really counts to blogging toward my purpose but I am content that today, I have met my Lenten promise to delve deeper into faith, prayer and me.

About sisterbernice

I am a practicing Catholic in love with the Lord. Whatever his failings, I recognize the same in our Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI. He serves as one of my great teachers. A truly misunderstood figure, I hope all who have reviled him might actually read him and find their way to God.
